Good Riddance! Phaedra Parks Knows She’ll Be Better Off Without Apollo Nida

As Apollo Nida spends his time in the slammer for bank fraud, Phaedra Parks is one step closer to divorcing the jailbird. But don’t feel sorry for Parks, because the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star knows darn well she’ll be better off without Nida.

Twitter and Facebook fans have been wondering how Phaedra Parks has been doing since the news broke that she is about to divorce Apollo Nida, and rest assured, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is doing just fine. In fact, one friend of the star spoke with People Magazine recently and told them that Phaedra: “knows she’ll be better off without him.”

But though she is handling it well, that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt just a tiny bit, as the end of a marriage is always tough. “Phaedra is really disappointed with how all of this has turned out,” the pal said of her marriage to Nida. And though it’s very sad that the couple’s two sons (ages 1 and 4) have to go through this, Parks is doing her best to make it as easy as possible on them. Luckily, they are still young enough that hopefully they won’t remember much of it.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that the fact that Nida was always jealous of Parks being the breadwinner started to wear on the couple’s marriage. And with things already going sour between the pair, Apollo decided to make a surprise visit to Parks’ house before going to prison, which sealed the deal for Phaedra.

What do you think about Phaedra Parks divorcing Apollo Nida? Is it the right move? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear from you. Let us know your thoughts, leave a comment below.
