Flower Child hiring for Scottsdale location

A second Flower Child restaurant is opening in May, this one in Scottsdale, and the restaurant is hiring servers, cashiers, cooks and dishwashers for the new location.

In a news release, restaurateur Sam Fox described the Flower Child concept as a “hip, healthy fast-casual restaurant concept.”

The first Flower Child, on Camelback Road and 44th Street in Phoenix, opened in April 2014. The second is scheduled to open in May at the Scottsdale Fiesta shopping center at Shea Boulevard and 90th Street.

“The 4,695-square-foot space will be a buzzy location offering farm-fresh and flavorful food… (and offer) healthy, clean, non-GMO options for lunch and dinner that have become a daily necessity for those dining with health in mind,” the press release said.

Among the restaurants Fox Concepts owns in Arizona are The Henry, The Arrogant Butcher, Blancos Tacos + Tequila, the Culinary Dropout and Zinburger Wine Burger Bar.

Last month, San Fox was one of the semifinalists in the 25th annual James Beard Awards, the restaurant industry’s version of the Academy Awards.

In January, the company announced the sale of its nine Sauce Pizza Wine brand eateries to a group led by a founder of Scottsdale’s RA Sushi.
