Natural Grocers expands; to open fifth Arizona store in Scottsdale next month

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Grocery store chain Natural Grocer’s is set to open its 100th store nationwide in Scottsdale next month.

The new location, on Thunderbird and North Scottsdale Road, will be the fifth store in Arizona.

It’s set to open with a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 11 at 8 a.m. If you’re one of the first 100 people in line, you’ll get a gift card valued at $25, $50 or $100, according to a press release.

Natural Grocers, a family-run company, offers organic produce, and this store will feature some locally-grown, raised and manufactured products from Arizona as well.

The new store will also have a Nutritional Health Coach on staff who will offer free nutrition classes.

There will be a series of free, grand opening celebrations at the Scottsdale store the first month its open, including cooking demos and nutrition classes and food tastings.

Natural Grocers is expanding fast. There are now 99 stores in 17 states across the country. The Scottsdale store will be one of 18 stores expected to open this fiscal year.
